The mayor of London gives a lesson in how to get good pubicity. You can read the story on my regular blog Further and Faster. What I particularly like about the story is that master of PR as Boris is - although he has a gift of a story - ride your bicycle - as a concerned citizen intervene - which supports his policies as mayor, he doesn't immediately call his PR manager and announce a press conference. His staff didn't even know about it till it turned up in the papers. As it was bound to - and all the more impressive. What you say about yourself is media relations. PR is what others say about you  and it is infinitely more valuable. As I keep repeating its not how much nectar you find its how much others are willing to carry on your behalf.
